Family photographer in Chandler and the East Valley
If you're usually the one behind the camera, this is your turn to be in the picture. Relaxed, joyful family portraits with everyone together.
Starting at $795

Why now
Family photos are for every season of life
Kids grow up, move out and come home for a weekend. Grandparents visit for the winter. Those seasons are worth remembering, and they make some of the most meaningful portraits.
- Immediate families with kids of any age
- Extended and multi-generation groups
- Adult children home for the holidays
- Families visiting Arizona on vacation
I keep it moving, give everyone something to do, and get the kids (and the dads) laughing instead of posing.

Family session questions
How much is a family session?
Family sessions start at $795. Tell me how many people and what you have in mind, and I'll send the full details and your total before you book.
When is the best time for family photos in Arizona?
The hour before sunset gives the softest light and the best desert color. October through April is the most comfortable season. In summer we go early in the morning or right at sunset to beat the heat.
Where do you photograph families?
Favorite spots include Lost Dutchman State Park, South Mountain Preserve, San Tan Regional Park and the Riparian Preserve, plus your own home or backyard. I'll help you choose based on your group and how far everyone wants to walk.
Can you photograph a big extended family?
Yes. Grandparents, grown kids, cousins, all of it. I photograph the whole group first, then each family unit, then the combinations you'll want later, like grandparents with all the grandkids.
What should we wear?
I'll help you plan outfits that go together without matching. Think a shared color palette, soft textures and nothing with large logos.
We're visiting Arizona. Can we book a session during our trip?
Absolutely. Vacation sessions are some of my favorites. Send your travel dates and where you're staying and I'll suggest a location and time that fit your trip.
