clayton + corissa :: 07.28.07

Platte is the cutest little town. I cannot remember ever being there. That’s weird, because it seems I’ve been everywhere in South Dakota. Hometown weddings are always fun and interesting. The bridal party was very lively. Corissa was beautiful, and we are honored to have been there.

Birthday

It was my nephew’s birthday last week. His new puppy helped celebrate. I am not sure how Jayce feels about that. :(

john and jen :: 07.21.07

I love it! Another “New York” wedding. I love learning how fate collides people. Jen moved to New York to Nanny and was about to come home to South Dakota and she met John. Now they are buying a new apartment (Is it weird that they *buy* apartments? Jen and I think so) and they got to introduce their New York friends to the South Dakota way.

I learned that it’s not a good thing to be from Long Island, and also not good to tell someone they talk like the Sopranos. I am not quilty of either of these, but I was educated. :) Fun stuff!

The families were so sweet. Jen’s mom made me feel like a guest and I was so glad to be chosen to be there. The wind was crazy! But we managed, and we ended up with a really great day of pictures, and a fabulous, fabulous wedding day for John and Jen.

I even got to meet Jen’s old friend Mark. I appreciate the friendly reminder of Lake County Sherriff’s department and my $104 fine. Great way to end the day. Argh!!! Guess I was a bit eager to get home to my family.

I hope they are having fun in Aruba.

I love a bride that says “Ok!” when I ask her to lay on the ground in her wedding dress. :) mil3.jpg
