Update for Mother’s Day Event

I have to say, I am shocked! I never imagined the responce I would get from this! I am so excited that’s it’s going to be even bigger than I ever imagined!

I wanted to update a little on the event, because I have had a lot of questions.

Q. Do I need to make an appointment?
A. NO! There are no appointments, please just come anytime between 1 and 5 for your photo.

Q. Can I bring other family members?
A. This events if for mothers and their children, so anyone that falls under Mother and Child qualifies!

Q. Where is your studio.
A. This is big. I have a brand new studio opening! I left this information out the last time because I wanted to make sure everything was going to happen and it did. The new studio is located at 101 E. Capital. It’s on the corner of Pierre Street and Capital in the former Teton River Traders store. The signs went up this week so everyone should be able to find it now!

Q. What should we wear?
A. I always tell people to be themselves, but most also need a little wardrobe direction. The images will all be Black and White, so the most important thing is to avoid busy patterns.

Q. Is the free 5×7 for each person or group?
A. Each group or “family unit” receives a single 5×7.

Q. How do we get our free 5×7?
A. The studio will be open on Sunday, April 29th for people to stop and pick up their photos.

Q. Can we purchase more?
A. Yes! You will have the option to purchase more. You’ll receive that information with your free print.

I really can’t wait for April 22nd to come fast enough. It is going to be amazing!

CASAblanca! March 20th, 2007

I wanted to put word out about the 2007 CASAblanca fundraiser, benfitting CIVIC CASA.

CASA is an organization that trains Court Appointed Special Advocate volunteers to assure that the child’s best interests are represented in the court at every stage of the case.

CASAblanca, benefiting CIVIC CASA will be held on Tuesday, March 20th, 2007 at the Ramkota here in Pierre, SD.

CASAblanca will include a three-course Mediterranean meal, gaming, live entertainment by Dakota Jazz Collective and several auctions. Bingo will also be available for an extra charge.

The ambience for the evening will based on the theme of the 1942 movie classic, “Casablanca,” starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman. Last year’s event was attended by almost 300 people and raised over $18,000 for CIVIC CASA.

Aaron + Kara :: 02.03.07

What can I say. I loved these two. Their wedding was fun, it was unique, it was untraditional, it was totally them.

Ceremony in the beautiful chapel at First Lutheran Church
Kara’s parents own Minerva’s, and this hands down was the best wedding food ever. Ever. Her Mom and Dad were wonderful. It was so fun being there.

Congratulations Kara and Aaron!
