Being born and raised in central South Dakota, I grew up with an appreciation of simple beauty.
In high school, I was behind the camera, photographing events for the yearbook and newspaper. Always striving for something different, I developed an eye to see what everyone else missed.
I have a degree in graphic design and extensive experience in web design, advertising and photography. My work has been used nationwide by groups such as Modern Woodman of American, the US Department of Education, and Nissan.
Recently, two photos were awarded by the Wedding Photojournalist Association, demonstrating the finest in wedding photojournalism. They can be viewed at www.wpja.com.
I am a proud member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association and the South Dakota Professional Photographers Association.
I still live and work in the place my husband and I grew up. Our children are being raised here, and we are thankful to have such a great community and family surrounding us.
